These are the areas the desktop app is built around listening, creating, collaborating, and keeping files in step with Suru.
Browse & discover
Explore your library and discovery feeds, mixes, latest drops, trending, weekly picks, and artist-led laneswith cover art and context, and open any track’s full listen page on Suru when you want more.
Drag-and-drop uploads
Drop audio onto the app to start an import straight into Suru handy when a bounce is done and you don’t want to dig through the site. You choose how visible the new track is so drafts can stay private or go out to your audience.
Suru Radio & player
Start Suru Radio or play individual tracks with the same streaming flow as Suru on the web including waveform playback so what you hear in the app matches what you expect from the site.
Playlists & queue
Line up playlists and a personal listen queue, skip around, and like tracks as you go built for longer sessions at the desk, with a mini player when you want the window out of the way.
Collaborations
See your projects, statuses, and who you’re working with. Jump to the collaboration on Suru in one click and when Suru links a chat room to a project, you can pick up the thread from the same place.
File sync & Suru Drive
Point the app at a folder on your machine to stay in sync with Suru optional watching for changes, uploads and downloads when you need them, and Suru Drive bundles you can keep aligned between the cloud and your studio computer.
Real-time chat
Read and send messages in your Suru chat rooms from the desktop, so quick notes with collaborators land where your music already lives not scattered across other apps.
Live streaming
Glance at who’s live (or recently streaming) and open watch pages on Suru when you’re ready to tune in or share a set with someone else.

Suru Sync is built and signed by Suru, not distributed through the Mac App Store. It is not an Apple product or an “official” Apple build.
If macOS blocks the app the first time you open it (Gatekeeper), try this: open System Settings → Privacy & Security. After you attempt to open Suru Sync once, look for a message about the app being blocked and click “Open Anyway”. You may need to enter your password.
Alternatively: Control-click (or right-click) the app in Finder, choose Open, then confirm—this also records your choice for that app.
